Four days of tuition, workshops and performance with some of the UK's leading jazz tutors

Open to all instruments the four and a half day course includes: Instrument tuition, band workshops, tutors Q and A sessions, vocal and percussion warmups and a welcome pack including all of your music (available in advance). We also have a range of lectures which have previously covered: building confidence, advanced harmony, extended chords and directing a band, along with tuition form some of the finest tutors in the country.

The course is hosted in the music department of Brentwood School (just off the M25, J28) and open to all those age 11-17, of at least a grade five standard. 

 The course is charged at £260 per place, for the four days , making it one of the most competitively priced jazz courses in the country (less than £8 per hour).  Places will be strictly limited to one one each rhythm section instrument and a maximum of three front line players in each band  so you will be playing all afternoon. 

Following last year we expect a large take up so you are advised to book early.
